Our Story

iShine Yoga was created in 2008. At the time, a local studio was closing and students and teachers alike were in need of a ‘place’ to call home; a place to connect with their yoga practice and become part of a larger community. During iShine Yoga’s inception, classes were held in Genevieve’s home-studio and were taught by some of the best teachers around. Without formal marketing or ad dollars, classes began to grow organically. A synergy had been established.

After a decade of teaching Genevieve Boulanger decided to create a permanent home for her vinyasa, prenatal, and baby and me clients. On April 1st, 2017 we opened our doors. Today, iShine is a large and ever-growing community, with a wide variety of classes and instructors. The space offers “something for everyone” while staying true to the mission of being the area’s leading provider of Yoga, Wellness, and Education. In addition to classes, workshops and Child Watch, iShine offers Ayurvedic Health Counseling, Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga (6-Week Series), Medical Acupuncture, HeartMath® Biofeedback, Yoga Teacher Training, Advanced Yoga Studies, Retreats and is the only profit sharing Yoga & Wellness Co-op in the country. Yogis from all over the globe practice at iShine and know the brand for hosting World Class advanced training with renowned teachers and best-selling authors.

The community at iShine grows while maintaining roots of simple brevity and inspiration. The space itself and the brand remind each of its practitioners, students and clients of how good life can feel.
